- From Johannesburg: Take N1 to Polokwane (Pietersburg) & then turn onto the 521 following Dendron-Vivo-Alldays. At Alldays turn right to Pontdrift, for 48 KM, where you turn right again onto the Musina (Messina) road. Do not turn right at the first Mussina sign (this goes to Venetia mine). Take the second turn - 572 Musina - Mapungubwe. Exactly 12,5KM on your left is Kaoxa bush Camp (Machete Farm).
- From Beit Bridge or Musina (Messina): take the Pondtrift road. Kaoxa bush Camp is exactly 80 KM from the turn off, on the right side (Do NOT take the Venetia Mine road).
- 15 minutes to Pontdrift (borderpost Botswana)
- 10 minutes to Mapungubwe National Park & World Heritage site
- 1 hour to Musina (Messina) /Beitbridge (borderpost Zimbabwe)
- 1 hour to Soutspanberg
- 2 hours to Polokwane (international airport)
- 2 hours to Krugerpark (Pafuri Gate)
- 4 hours to Waterberg
- 5 hours to Johannesburg (international airport)
